Just an avid football fan who admires and respects the tradition and greatness of the NFL in football. Yes, the Denver Broncos are my favorite team and I root my best for them, but I'm a fan of the sport. After all greatness is greatness, right?
Along those lines as I'm an avid traveler and can't get enough football, way back in 2002 I embarked upon what has ended up being an almost-annual tradition of making a budget vacation out of Super Bowl week in the host city. So many low-cost or free events, plus a great city and nice winter climate (usually, ha). One year I even by dumb luck had the opportunity to pitch an all-time favorite player, Terrell Davis, to key PFHOF voters (it worked! - that's my story and I'm sticking to it).
Atlanta will be the 13th of the last 18 SB weeks I've attended - only 1 game as tix are big-time $ and the events (and host city attractions) are plentiful and fun. Absolutely open to ideas/suggestions regarding SBLIII events and things along those lines. And, of course, in fostering civil discussion, regarding our mutual passion, football. If there's anything I can do to promote the great vision of Fancom...I'm in!
Thank you for offering this forum - football truly is family when discussion and bantering is with positive energy.
