Very interesting points. I'm in Denver where unless the team catches lightning in a bottle with Tebow for a year or Lucks out (intentional pun) on Peyton, the QB situation has been bleak. Jameis far and above better than anything we've had.
Based on his play this year late and also a rising salary cap with starting QB money, his 5th year option salary is despite the number relatively cheap...and he could be tagged if no longer deal. And if the team is bad, the 2020 draft has much better QB talent than 2019.
But that's no consolation if the team is bad or the QB Isn't so good. Unfortunately in Denver, we know that all too well regarding the Broncos. Hang in there hopefully it gets better in Tampa very soon.
