Donnell ... Do you worry at all that Matt Nagy will be calling the offensive plays for the Bears?
In today's NFL, the head coach has so many responsibilties. They need to be aware of what is going on both sides of the ball plus special teams. I worry when head coaches with either a defensive or offensive pedigree take over the play calling. I feel it's easy to be spread too thin. We saw in Kansas City, NY and Green Bay, that the head coaches had to give up play calling because it was impacting other aspects of the job.
I love that the Bears didn't hire a re-tread. I love seeing new innovative minds get their chance. I just wish that a coach like Nagy would hire an OC that shares the same philosphies and groom him.
