I would like to see Kirk signed on but killing out cap! He wants to be paid as an elite QB but I don’t care what his stats say, he’s not. Look at his red zone stats and him under pressure. He’s not THAT great. He’s a good QB we can build a GREAT team around but we need the money to be able to do that. If we franchise tag him again, I’m going to be sick. A transition tag would be fine and draft a young QB that we can put confidence in and actually show him that the team wants him from the beginning. (Where we went wrong with Kirk) With Kirk, I don’t think he truly wants to be a Redskin any longer. His heart is not in the team (in my opinion) and I can see why. The FO never put any kind of faith in him and only continued to tag him instead of investing in him
