It's not all about the W's

I am a very passionate fan. I have been here cheering as loud as I possibly can for the last 25 years. But it's not the team record that keeps me coming back every year. It is the fanbase. There is nothing that can substitute the feeling I get, on a Sunday trip to FedEx Field. I absolutely love hanging out by the stadium with 90,000 fans, that are dressed in B & G. I love meeting new fans every weekend and just talking about our hopes and opinions on what the team is doing.
I have met a lot of great ppl at FedEx field, that I now consider friends. Friendships that will last a lifetime.
Every now and then I get asked (jokingly), isn't it hard to be a Redskins fan. My answer is easy. No. It's actually the most enjoyable time of my life.
My children are growing up going to Redskins game and one day they will take their children to games and share memories of games and trips to FedEx field, with me. And that is what it's all about.
Being a Redskins fan is about heritage and perseverance. No matter what happens, we must move forward and enjoy each game and each day spent with the fanbase. We are blessed.
P. S. If you are at FedEx and see me in my suit, plz say hi. Because I already love you
