I honestly do not think that Gruden would support the "big money deal" to keep Cousins on. I don't think he is a huge believer of Kirk and his ability to get it done under pressure. I think he's letting everyone know he just wants to know what direction the team is going with Kirk so he can move on with preparations in the off season. No one wants to wait until the deadline again.
