Eric, why do you find it tough? I definitely agree that it was unexpected especially after the owner gave Mike Mularkey support after the Titans upset the Chiefs (http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/21994345/mike-mularkey-tennessee-titans-receives-support-owner-amy-adams-strunk). 

I know Jon Robinson has ties to Josh McDaniels, so I wonder after watching his team have end of the half issues in the Patriots game, he thought it may be time to make a move. 

Marcus Mariota went backwards this year too. This was statistically his worst season. 

It is tough in the NFL. I feel too many teams jump to fire the coach too quicky. It's hard to get a program implemented in a short period of time.
