It does seem like it could be a good move for both teams. Bucs get another piece to make a potentially great defense, and the Giants clear up future cap space to retool.
I don't think the Giants serve themselves best by staying there and taking Chubb, though. Taking a quality potential QB of the future (on a rookie contract for years) is huge with Eli nearing the end of his career, or else trading out and amassing high draft picks to fill roster holes would be better. They are not one or two players away from Superbowl contention. Unless they think they will be drafting that high again soon, they really should take a QB or amass draft capital.
