I can't imagine, playing a game that I love for a living, but then my body begins to fail causing me to retire from the game I love. 

Seahawks coach, Pete Carroll thinks Cliff should hang up his cleats so his quality of life post-football won't be impacted, but Cliff may not be ready to. 

FanCom NFL legends, were you able to retire on your own terms or did physical ailments impact your decision? When you made that final decision, how did you feel? I would love to hear if you went through some of the same things Cliff Avril is going through. He is so much fun to watch too.
