It’s not necessarily the result that they wanted going into half time but you have to like a lot of what the 49ers are doing Vs the Bears compared to how they have played throughout the season. 

First of all, the protection has been solid, which has not been the case prior to today. Jimmy has had time to look down the field and throw the Football accurately. 

Jimmy looks poised and comfortable considering he has only been in the system for 1 month. That’s only going to get better with time. 

Run game is still non existent but you have to like how the offense has moved the chains and dominated in the time of possession, nearly 21 minutes. 49er D is not used to that  

The defense had a good first half and have held Howard in check, giving up only 1 TD. 

Special teams can’t afford to give up that punt return and Aldrick Robinson needs to make that tackle for a 12 yard loss instead of a 61 yard TD. 

What needs to change is the red zone performance. Can’t continue to settle with field goals. Need TDs.
