According to reports, Bell would like to remain in Pittsburgh. I wonder if the Steelers will look to move on from him this offseason. It hasn’t been good practice in the past for NFL teams to use a large chunk of their salary cap on the running back position. We’ve seen in recent years that rookie running backs on cheaper deals have made as good of an impact. See Alvin Kamara this season. Pittsburgh is one of the better teams at team building. I could see them moving on if Bell’s demands get to high. He is in the NFL program too which means he could face suspension at any time.
