- Sunday’s Tie should be considered as a loss for the Steelers. The Positive Takeaway from the game is that James Conner is a good, young RB who had a breakout game. Defensive Line and OLB’s are pretty good and generates some consistent pressure on Tyrod. Negatives: 5 turnovers, blown 14 point lead, edge pressure from the Tackles, and careless penalties. Before you say, “Max, it’s only week 1, that’s pretty harsh!” I say that it’s a continuation from the playoffs last season, and the discipline and poise needs to be greater for the team moving forward. Eliminate the distractions, and Get back to focusing on the task. The Steelers should not be in a situation where there needs to be 70 mi utes of football to not determine a winner against a Browns team that is not as talented as ours.
