I watched the entire 30 minute press conference with Vince McMahon regarding this new XFL venture. He said while the game will be played at a higher pace, he promised that it will be a lot safer than the current product out now. He didn’t go into much detail, but he did say that his league would be working with the best doctors and experts on how to make sure everybody who plays the game is safe from concussions and other avoidable injuries. 

Vince is a notorious business man, so who knows if he was just saying what the people want to hear or not. Regardless, I’m intrigued by the reboot of the XFL and will most certainly check it out when it launches in 2020.
