A shared love of the Philadelphia Eagles brings together my friends, my family, my coworkers, my neighbors, and my community. I know it's not unique to Philly and I have plenty of family in New England that feel the same way about their Pats. This is what I truly love about the NFL. It has the power to make unite random people passing in the street, at the market, on trains, elevators, just stop and talk about the players and the game. It levels us. We are all equals when sharing our thoughts on the Eagles (or Pats) about the game we saw or the next matchup. I have been a fan for 40 years and I get just as excited and down with every game as I did when I was a kid. I love being a football fan and I love my Eagles. If I cannot find a way to Super Bowl 52 I will still enjoy the game and live and die with every play.
