Byron ... jumping off your point that "football is so much more than a game."

I wanted to share a personal story to drive that home again. In 2009, my mother passed away unexpectedly at the age of 55. My parents were high school sweathearts so my dad took it pretty hard. I took a shot in the dark and emailed Bill Belichick to see if he could do something to brighten my dad's spirits since we had been Patriots season ticket holders since 1993. This is what he did:

Bill has this persona in the media and it couldn't be further from the truth of who he is. He didn't know me and didn't need to do anything. He did and I will never forget it.
