Yes, you read that right! Under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, since Jimmy G was on the Patriots roster for 8 games, he is entitled to the same postseason pay as the people on the active roster. The difference is, Jimmy G won't actually be "working" in Minnesota so he is not subject to the same taxes as the rest of the team. Therefore he will end up making more than the people physically playing on the field. So I guess this makes him the real MVP even before the first snap! I wonder if he gets a ring too?
