See the part of football fans don’t get to see is the bullshit business side. For example, Jay Ajayi is AT WORST the 2nd best skill player on the Dolphins offense. The dolphins are struggling and it doesn’t seem like they’re gonna have a winning season with all the QB injuries. So, while trying to save his job knowing that the season is basically dead in the water, Mike Tannebaum trades Ajayi for no apparent reason AND for nothing but a 4th round pick.

This is bad for Ajayi having to move overnight, the Dolphins now without their leading rusher and then fans for having to suffer through another rough Dolphin season. But you know who it’s good for? Mike Tannenbaum. See he can go to Steve Ross and say “hey look we drafted the guy in the 5th and I got a 4th round pick for him, aren’t I great?”

Hopefully Mr. Ross can see through this ploy but unfortunately I wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t because owners don’t all the time. Good thing those season tickets are refundable right guys?
