Message: Re: How should John Elway address the Broncos QB situation this offseason?

My humble opinion and answers to your questions:

A. Paxton Lynch is not going anywhere at least for one more year. His trade value is very low and the contract very friendly so the Broncios will take another look in his progress next year. Siemian is a glorified water boy who benefited from a series of lucky circumstances and got a chance to play in the NFL with no NFL level talent. Goodbye!

B. The Boncos will draft another QB this year no matter what. Who is this QB going to be will be determined by free agency and what takes place in the 4 draft spots before them.

C. A trade will not happen Smith is not going to be traded to Denver, Luck and Manning are going nowhere and Gabbert can go be an insurance salesman or something.

D. The Broncos will sign a veteran but that is not going to be Cousins. Cousins is either going to make 34 mil from the Redskins or demand a 5 year 150 mil + contract with a $55 mil signing bonus and $50 mil of that guaranteed from any team interested in the overpriced services of his mediocre skills. Maybe the Browns, the Jets or some other team with a magillion dollars to spend can afford to do that just to appease their fan base for always staying in the cellar but our Broncos should not even consider touching that financial landmine! Fans are crying now that VM and DT are making a lot of money restricting the team’s ability to pay other players and you want to sign Kirk Cousins to the richest deal ever in the NFL?  6 years in the league, 2 playoff appearances both losses and they were not even close! NO THANK YOU!

GO BRONCOS!
