As a fan, I'll never say no.

As an objective observer? Dallas is in serious trouble.

Outside of "anything can happen" with 7 games left, the fact of the matter is that Dallas' failure to close out early games with big leads (Rams / Packers) is now haunting them.

Rather than being 7-2 and sitting on a cushion to help them get through a tough period, they are:

1. 5-4
2. Outside of the playoff picture looking in
3. Have to find a way to get into the playoff picture without Zeke, Bailey
4. Have to pray Tyron Smith gets healthy really fast

I love my Cowboys but I just don't see a way into the playoffs from here without some serious help from other teams.... and that's never a plan for success.
