Chad and I became some social media friendly when he was on the Bengals. He would message back and forth with me all the time. In 2010, the Bengals opened the season against the Patriots so he asked that I come meet him. He took my wife and I out and we had a blast. This was when he was at his social media peak so it was unreal. We kept in touch and one day he sent me a private message saying he was getting traded to the Patriots and he would let me know when it was official so I could post it to Twitter before anyone else knew. That’s the kind of guy he was just a fun guy. I learned a lot about marketing and social media from him.
