The League right now has found itself in a "worst case storm" financially given some response/reaction to the Player Protest. So if you take that element and mix it with the fact that arguably the NFL's Biggest and Most Marketable Stars like Odell Beckham Jr., Aaron Rodgers, JJ Watt and then to some degree Andrew Luck and Eric Berry are all out this is a financial albatross because the ratings are down. It goes without saying that the NFL Owners and Commissioners are eyeballing their bottom lines right now and are operating with trepidation. The one thing that helps the League though is that the NFL tends to Market its "Teams" and not "Individuals" so they can with stand this blow overall but at the end of the day we are seeing "Money with Wings" this season for all the reasons I mentioned!
